Steadyvolt: Voltage Protection

The highly fluctuating A.C. Mains supply is a very common phenomenon in India and the difficulties caused by them are known too well and need not be enumerated. The emergence of the sophisticated computer era has created the need for a stable input supply as a basic necessity. The absence of stable supply creates problems in many equipment’s. Unsteady voltage supply conditions result in the total breakdown of sensitive and sophisticated equipment’s. The hope of getting a stable supply is very remote in our country and keeping this in view, MARSZ Electricals have developed microcontroller based STEADYVOLT Servo Controlled Voltage Stabilizers. STEADYVOLT conforms to I.S. 9815.

Applications

The Steadyvolt Servo Voltage Stabilizer safeguards your equipment from damaging voltage fluctuations, ensuring optimal performance and extended lifespan.

Questions? You’re covered

01. How does a Steadyvolt Servo Voltage Stabilizer work?
  • Steadyvolt utilizes a microprocessor-controlled servo motor to regulate voltage fluctuations.
  • The built-in digital voltmeter continuously monitors the input and output voltage.
  • When a voltage fluctuation occurs, the microprocessor adjusts the servo motor, which in turn corrects the output voltage to maintain a stable level within the specified range.
  • Steadyvolt offers a wide range of models, from 1 KVA to 5000 KVA, catering to both single-phase (1Ph) and three-phase (3 Ph) applications.
  • To choose the right model, consider the total power consumption (kVA) of your equipment.
  • Steadyvolt also offers air-cooled and oil-cooled options. Air-cooled models are suitable for smaller loads and well-ventilated environments, while oil-cooled models are better suited for continuous heavy-duty use.
  • Steadyvolt is designed for low maintenance.
  • The primary maintenance involves occasional inspection and replacement of carbon tips on the brush arm (for models with brushes).
  • Additionally, cleaning the commutator surface of dust and debris helps maintain optimal performance.
  • Following manufacturer recommendations for general cleaning and inspection ensures smooth operation.
